As some of you may know already our school has an active PTA (parent teacher association)
We are PIPPTAC (Pipworth Parents Teachers and Community).
Membership of the PTA is free and as a parent/carer you are automatically a member!
We are happy to welcome you at any of our meetings and events; in fact offers of help at our events are greatly appreciated.
Our PTA exists to raise much needed funds for the school and to provide social events not only for the school but for the local community too.
We hold various events throughout the school year.
We hold meetings at least once a term and it is at these that we decide what events we want to run.
At the meetings the school reports to the PTA and requests any help with funding for certain projects that they require. Funds are used to enhance all children’s learning and development and to make the school environment richer and more enjoyable.
Our project at the moment is to raise money to develop a new play area in the infant playground.
Details of our upcoming events can be found on our notice boards which are situated by the main office reception and on the Y1 corridor. We also notify you by letters sent home. These are easily recognised. Just look out for our logo on any letters. (As at the top of this letter)
